19 March 2025 – Arcadis (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the world’s leading company delivering data-driven sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, proudly announces that Robinsons Land Inc. (RLC) has achieved LEED® Silver Certification for Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3 under the LEED BD+C: Core and Shell v4 rating system. This milestone reflects the strong partnership between Arcadis and RLC in delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible spaces, and adds to RLC’s growing portfolio of LEED-certified developments, reinforcing its leadership in regional building standards.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the world's most widely used green building rating system by the U.S. Green Building Council®, recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices for healthy, efficient, and cost-saving green buildings. Achieving LEED Silver® places Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3 at an even higher standard than its predecessors, Towers 1 and 2, which were the first LEED-certified office projects in Western Visayas.
Tower 3 adds 12 floors of modern space to the estate, complementing the Cybergate complex’s initial towers of five and eight floors. The 10-hectare estate in Iloilo serves BPOs, IT companies, and other enterprises seeking premium office space in a thriving provincial hub.
To attain LEED® Silver, Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3 implemented a wide range of sustainable strategies focused on occupant experience. Energy-saving systems, verified by whole-building energy simulation, deliver 11.2% in energy cost savings versus the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 baseline. Bike racks encourage mobility, shared green outdoor spaces promote interaction, and panoramic views of Iloilo help reduce fatigue and inspire teams.
The project also features future-ready elements like EV charging stations, LED lighting, and an on-site sewage treatment facility. During construction, 75% of waste diverted from landfills and 31.5% of permanently installed materials (by cost) were recycled, supporting circularity and resource efficiency. Habitat restoration across over 25% of the site strengthens ecological balance and promotes greener urban spaces.
Located in a dense, transit-served area, the building was recognized for its proximity to public transportation and reduced parking. With direct links to Pavia Transport Terminal and as the nearest BPO-grade office development to Iloilo International Airport, the project offers convenient access to and from Western Visayas, encouraging sustainable mobility over private vehicles.
“We are proud to partner once again with Robinsons Land Inc. to deliver sustainable, high-performing buildings like Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3. Achieving LEED Silver certification reflects our shared commitment to integrating innovative design, safety, and efficiency into every stage of the project,” said Katherine Resurreccion, Service Line Director for Sustainability Solutions at Arcadis Philippines Inc. “This milestone not only enhances the value and resilience of the development but also sets a benchmark for green building in the region.”
“We see Iloilo and Western Visayas as an important part of the country’s long-term growth story,” said Jericho P. Go, Robinsons Land Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager for Robinsons Offices. “By developing premium office spaces in regional centers, we enable businesses to expand with confidence while helping professionals stay closer to their families, improve daily quality of life, and grow with their communities.”
Arcadis and RLC have now collaborated on nine green-building certifications, underscoring their shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and high-performance real estate development.
